Educational Farm Environment Experience


Perfect for late-September and early October before the first frost!

Includes five nature and activity stations:

  1. Investigate habitats, food sources, and life-cycles in the “Birds and Butterflies” Garden
  2. Observe composting and rain cachements in action: “Re-use, Recycle, & Conserve” Exhibit
  3. Experience food at its source at the “Grow Your Own” Garden
  4. Learn how native trees clean our air and provide critical habitat for many species in our “All About Trees” Activity
  5. Explore the water ecosystem at “The Water’s Edge”

This experience lasts approximately 2 hours.

Bring snacks or lunch to enjoy for an additional 20-30 minutes.

Educational Farm Environment Experience Cost

  • All school personnel are FREE! Special Chaperone Pricing!! $5.00 per chaperone to accompany the class during field trip. All chaperones will be required to check in, pay for their trip and receive a pass for security purposes so we can identify all field trip participants.
