Soulstice A Cappella is Virginia Tech's premier all-female acapella group founded in 1998. The group consists of 17 members, ranging from freshman to senior year, and sing everything from pop, country, and alternative; to R&B, and singer/songwriter.

Celebrating their 30th anniversary, Juxtaposition is Virginia Tech's Premiere A Cappella Group! Since its founding in 1994, Juxta has released 14 studio albums, been featured in multiple Best Of College A Cappella albums and has gained recognition at international competitions. Their latest album, Thrill of the Chase is available on all major streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, and make sure to follow them on Instagram, @vtjuxta. They can't wait to perform at Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival this year and they look forward to sharing their music with you all!

Scarecrow wows the crowd by standing or sitting motionless making people think he’s just a regular old scarecrow until he says “Howdy” or gives a friendly wave. It’s fun to see all the different reactions and hear the comments from folks. If music is available “Scarecrow” brings out some fun instruments so people can join in on the fun.

Sinkland Farms 32nd Annual Pumpkin Festival
Each weekend is jam-packed with activities, live music, food, and fun for the whole family. Hayrides to a 10-acre pumpkin patch, make your way through a mind boggling 5 acre corn maze, and visit with Sinkland's farm animals. We feature Ride-a-Rescue horseback trail rides, pony rides, a huge kid’s zone with a barrel train ride, giant slide, kids zip line and many games. Kids of all ages can see tractors and our other farm equipment. Some attractions at extra charge. Have your face painter design a specialty to wear throughout the day. Look for the Scarecrow on weekends! Plus, enjoy live music with adult beverages and food trucks on-site.
Everyone always enjoys Sinkland's entertainment such as blacksmith demonstrations, local live music, and Acapella groups. You can watch pig racing, and feast with local food trucks. The festival grounds include the area's most noted Arts & Crafts vendors and Pop-up Boutiques.
We have been voted the Best Pumpkin Patch in Virginia and Best Farm to Visit.
Admission:
Fridays - $12 per person, $11 seniors, military & first responders, free for children 3 and under.
Saturdays/Sundays - $15 per person, $14 seniors, military & first responders, free for children 3 and under.
Admission includes: parking, hayride to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, live music (Sat/Sun afternoon) and other entertainment, Kidz Zone games, access to food trucks and local vendors, and more!
