Celebrate 35 Years of Fall Traditions at Sinkland Farms featuring America's Harvest Celebration!
The 35th Annual Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival returns September 19 through November 1, 2026, inviting families to experience one of Virginia's most beloved fall traditions. Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Christiansburg, Virginia, the festival combines pumpkins, sunflowers, hayrides, an award-winning corn maze, live music, local artisans, food trucks, and family-friendly attractions into an unforgettable autumn experience.
New for 2026, Sinkland Farms proudly presents America's Harvest Celebration, a season-long tribute to 250 years of American agriculture, family traditions, and rural heritage. Throughout the festival, guests will enjoy patriotic farm displays, themed weekends, expanded Americana music, and a celebration of the values that have connected generations through the harvest season.
Recognized as Virginia's Favorite Fall Festival and voted 4th Best Pumpkin Patch and 4th Best Corn Maze in the Nation by USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards, Sinkland Farms welcomes more than 40,000 visitors each fall to celebrate everything that makes autumn in Southwest Virginia so special.

About Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival
Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival is an annual fall festival held at Sinkland Farms in Christiansburg, Virginia. The event is a seasonal agritourism festival featuring pumpkin picking, hayrides, a corn maze, live music, food vendors, arts & crafts, farm animals, and family-friendly fall activities. The festival runs 7 weekends from September 19th through November 1, Thursdays(Oct)-Sundays, and is one of Southwest Virginia’s most well-known fall festivals.
On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy the full festival experience with live music, arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, ice cream from the Cottage Shoppe, special performances, and fun for the whole family. During Thursday and Friday evenings in October, guests can relax with a drink from the Terrace Bar and food truck options, take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, wander the 5-acre corn maze, and let the kids play in the Kids Zone playground.
Sinkland Farms is a historic working farm and event venue that hosts seasonal festivals, weddings, private events, field trips, and agritourism experiences throughout the year.

Let your young learners create the kind of lasting memories only our pumpkins, farm fields, hayrides, and farm animals can provide. Children learn by doing and immersing themselves in the day-to-day wonders of a working farm. Students gain knowledge and develop skills a traditional classroom setting just can’t provide. We incorporate Virginia Standards of Learning into all field trips. So, bring your class, club, troop, and friends!

Photographers can schedule multiple clients in the same day and will have access to the fields and grounds for $100 per day for the entire day. Each photographer will need to purchase a photography pass online or at the gate. The photography pass gives the photographer admission to the festival and the perfect canvas to create one-of-a-kind images. A: Yes, dogs will be allowed at the festival. All dogs must be well behaved, leashed and the owners are responsible for cleaning up after them. Service dogs are also allowed. Only very friendly and well-socialized dogs are allowed. We reserve the right to bounce dogs that are misbehaving.

A: Sinkland Farms is a privately owned property operated by family and team members that are committed to providing an enjoyable experience for our visitors. We expect our visitors to behave appropriately and responsibly. Those who do not; may be asked to leave without refund. A: Yes, we are have many handwashing and sanitation stations on the farm during the festival. We encourage guests to wash their hands and use sanitizer often. Each hand washing station is equipped with soap, water and disposable paper towels. Guests can bring their own hand sanitizer as well.

A: We like to call our porta-potty facilities "farm restrooms." As we are a farm that is ever-changing, we shy against putting in facilities that would require permanent changes to the farm. We do our best to provide "farm restrooms" that are clean and user friendly. We thank you for your understanding.

A: Our farm is wheelchair- and handicap-accessible. We have handicapped parking and handicapped “farm restrooms." The pathways on the festival grounds are grass lawns. The pumpkin fields are dirt, but are manageable as visitors take strollers and wagons. Our team members are always on hand to assist in any way possible.
