Sunflower Festival

Fun for the whole family and 8 acres of 200,000 sunflowers and 20 different varieties! Attendance in our first year exceeded 10,000 in just 3 weekends. Sinkland Farms continues to bring special recognition to Southwestern Virginia by being recently voted "Most Unique Festival" by Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine with a readership of over 350,000 across seven states along the Blue Ridge Mountains. The festival also includes the area's most noted Arts & Crafts vendors and Pop-up Boutiques featuring both hand-made goods, direct sales and retail outlets. Kids zone includes zip-line, giant slides and fun games. Plus, enjoy live music with adult beverages and food trucks on-site.
LIVE MUSIC: Howlin' Mudbellies - 5-8pm
The Mudbellies are old-school blues. Rhythmic, percussive, shaking and grooving blues, from the deep south country to the rockin' city. Picking, slide, and finger style acoustic guitar, Dobro, thumping bass, and sometimes added kick of drums and harmonica. Covering a wide range of styles and eras from Delta, Piedmont, Chicago, and Texas blues styles by Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, Willie Dixon, Elmore James, Blind Lemon Jefferson, Mississippi John Hurt, Howlin' Wolf and Leadbelly.
