Sinkland Farms Pumpkin Festival
For 35 years, we’ve spent each fall welcoming families from near and far to enjoy the simple pleasures of rural life. Sinkland Farms 35th Annual Pumpkin Festival runs 7 weekends from Sept. 19 through Nov. 1, and brings out the best of the farm during our traditional pumpkin harvest. Hop on a wagon to visit the patch where pumpkins, gourds and squash come in all sizes, shapes, and colors. Pick your own “great” pumpkin, meet our farm dwelling friends, and enjoy fall festivities like nowhere else! Our 4th Annual Wine festival will be during the opening weekend on Sept. 19-20, 2026.
Our family, staff, and customers have all attended the Pumpkin Festival for the last 10 years! It’s a great place for a fall family outing with something for all ages. Thanks for providing the best pumpkin-patch experience in all of Virginia!

PLANTING SEEDS
Our 5th annual Sunflower Festival will be open every day from August 1 through August 14, 2026, and open 4-8pm Mon.-Fri., and 12-8pm Sat.-Sun. Viewing our 8 acres of sunflower fields, with over 200,000 blooms, and over 20 different varieties of flowers will be a fun summer family tradition. While our sunflowers will be the star of the show, we will have 2 weekends with activities, music, food, and fun you won’t want to miss. Sinkland Farms continues to bring special recognition to Southwestern Virginia by being recently voted "Most Unique Festival" by Blue Ridge Outdoors magazine.

We began our journey as a dairy farm in the 1980s. Today, although we still tend the land with love and care, we have found new purpose as a wedding and event venue that cultivates memories to last a lifetime.
