Punkin' Chunkin' by Team Carbo, world champion trebuchet team from Raleigh, will be slinging pumpkins across the farm with their new catapult throughout the day on Saturday and Sunday.
Our annual Pumpkin Festival is truly something to write home about! We are celebrating our 34th anniversary during the 2025 season and are making sure this will be a year to remember. Attracting folks from miles around, we bring out the best of the farm during our traditional pumpkin harvest. While our pumpkin patch is the star of the show, we offer six weekends jam-packed with activities, music, food, and fun you won’t want to miss.
Live Music 1-4pm: Lily Comer - Award-Winning Local Country Music Singer influenced by Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn, Hank Williams, Sr., Tammy Wynette, Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, and more!
Virginia Tech String Project will be performing in theEvent Barn at 11am.
Soulstice A Cappella will be singing on the farm noon-2pm.
Party Princess noon-2:30pm: NRV Party Princess strives to make all of your child's wishes come true! Your child will light up with happiness as they meet their favorite princess with a hug!
Spot the Scarecrow wows the crowd by standing or sitting motionless, until... It’s fun to see all the different reactions and hear the comments from folks. If music is available “Spot the Scarecrow” brings out some fun instruments so people can join in on the fun. noon-2:30pm
PumpkinTron, Jesse Johnson, the Stilt Walker from Ninja Warrior, will be roaming the farm towering over everyone for fun! noon-2:30pm
There will be Blacksmith Demonstrations and Chainsaw Demonstrations, plus Laser Tag with Blue Ridge Extreme Mobile Laser tag - $5.
Venture on a hayride or enjoy a relaxing nature stroll to 10 acres of pumpkin patch, meander through the corn maze, watch the pigs race, and breathe in the fresh country air while gazing upon the Blue Ridge Mountains. Children may enjoy our Kidz-Zone which includes a zip-line, giant slides and jumping pad, swings, ropes course, spider climber, and so much more! Skip over to see farm-ily, friendly animals, horseback trails & pony rides (extra cost), walking trails, and The Tuscan Pond. Adult beverages are served on the Tuscan Terrace. Meet at The Cottage Shoppe for ice cream, kettle corn, jams, and goodies, live music, local artisans & food vendors to delight!
